The holidays are upon us and things are getting busy. Hop on over to our website and check out the December newsletter and calendar. December is going to be a fun and busy month!
Have a wonderful Thanksgiving break with your family and friends. I’m looking forward to meeting with you at conferences on Monday and Tuesday.
There will be no homework coming home this week. The kids have been busy working hard with assessments for report cards. I also wanted to spend some time teaching them about the first Thanksgiving and incorporate this through our work across the curriculum in centers this week.
Conferences are coming up in 2 weeks. Please remember to sign up on SignUp.com at the following link . . . http://signup.com/go/ZCxgqeY If you do not sign up by the end of the week, I will be sending you an assigned conference time. Your child brought home their new November reading calendar. Keep up that reading at home and every time you read together for 10 minutes, a circle a dolphin. We read a book about a dolphin called, Winter’s Tale. The kids really enjoyed the true story of how an injured dolphin got a second chance. I told the kids that they made a movie about it and some kids wanted me to share that with parents. It would make a great family, pizza, movie night!
