Our first short week of kindergarten was a great success! The kids did a great job! We spent most of the week going over routines and rules to keep us all safe. It would be great if you could talk with your little one about what we did and learned. Review how to be a good whole body listener. Those simple ideas are great to use at home and at school! Here are just a few reminders I wanted to share with you . . .
1. Please fill out and return any papers that need to be filled out and returned to school - these were sent home in your child's folder this week or were given to you at our Meet the Teacher appointment. 2. Please send in a snack EVERY DAY for your child. If it helps, put 5 little, simple snacks in a Ziploc baggie for the week (one for each day). The kids then just keep their snack in their cubby. 3. The big red folder that came home this week is our home/school folder. Please check that each night and take out any papers that need to stay at home and any that might need to be filled out and sent back to school. That folder should be sent back to school every day. 4. Friday, September 6th is Picture Day - an order form was sent home this week.
